Seborrhea

Is a common skin problem. It causes a red, itchy rash and white scales. When it affects the scalp, it is called “dandruff.” It can be on parts of the face as well, including the folds around the nose and behind the ears, the forehead, and the eyebrows and eyelids.

Pseudofolliculitis barbae, commonly referred to as “razor bumps” is an inflammatory reaction that can affect any individual who has curly hair and who shaves. Small, itchy, sometimes painful bumps grow on the skin after shaving, when hair strands curl back on themselves and grow into the skin.
